Welcome to Botho University
In 2013 Botho University celebrates 16 years of supporting the Botswana economy by transforming the education scenario of Botswana. Started in 1997 as NIIT a computing training institute, in response to Botswana Government’s call for ICT capacity building, the institution soon became Botho College on 29 June 2009,a multidisciplinary education provider offering more than just computing programmes.Botho College has been given University status by the Tertiary Education Council as of March 2013. With this Botho University becomes Botswana’s first homegrown private University.

Botho University Library is conducting a questionnaire
Botho University Library is conducting a questionnaire between 2nd May to 31st May to collect data about the library. The finding will be used to assess the current state of the library and future improvements.

Form 5 Students can apply now
All Form 5 students awaiting their results can now apply to Botho University for provisional admission to the July 2013 intake. Admission will be confirmed subject to your BGCSE results.

Our Vision

The plan clearly states the importance given to the people, namely staff, students and their families, and the focus on IT capacity building across the nation. It also states the need to add value at every stage of institutional operations.
